In the ABINIT DMFT implementation, it is done with the help of Projected Wannier orbitals (see ). The first part of the tutorial explains the importance of this choice. Wannier functions are unitarily related to a selected set of Kohn Sham (KS) wavefunctions, specified in ABINIT by band index dmftbandi, and dmftbandf.

10 Sep 2010 Measures of caries prevalence are indexes of decayed (D), missed (M), and filled (F) permanent teeth (T) or surfaces (S), ie, DMFT or DMFSindex.

The decay-missing-filled (DMF) index or decayed, missing, and filled teeth (DMFT) index is one of the most common methods in oral epidemiology for assessing dental caries prevalence as well as dental treatment needs among populations and has been used for about 75 years. The D ecayed, M issing, F illed (DMF) index has been used for almost 80 years and is well established as the key measure of caries experience in dental epidemiology. 5 The DMF Index is applied to the permanent dentition and is expressed as the total number of teeth or surfaces that are decayed (D), missing (M), or filled (F) in an individual. The Decayed, Missing, and Filled Teeth (DMFT) index has been used since the 1930s 27 and today is the predominant population-based measure of caries experience worldwide. This index gives the sum of an individual's decayed, missing, and filled permanent teeth or surfaces (DMFS). The DMFT index is one of the simplest and most commonly used indices in epidemiologic surveys of dental caries.

Oral status in a population has traditionally been described by the DMFT index (decayed, filled, and missing teeth). There seems to be contradicting and

The decay-missing-filled ( DMF) index or decayed, missing, and filled teeth ( DMFT) index is one of the most common methods in oral epidemiology for assessing dental caries prevalence as well as dental treatment needs among populations and has been used for about 75 years. The DMFT index is one of the simplest and most commonly used indices in epidemiologic surveys of dental caries. It quantifies dental health status based on the number of carious, missing and filled teeth. The index, however, does not provide an accurate description of previous dental care. The dmft index expresses the number of affected teeth in the primary dentition, with scores ranging from 0 to 20 for children. The dmfs index expresses the number of affected surfaces in primary dentition (five per posterior tooth and four per anterior tooth), with a score range of 0 to 88 surfaces. The mean DMFT is 1.91, and the Significant Caries Index is 4.61.

Av Tabell 8d framgår att prevalensen för karies enligt indexet DMFT i nuläget kan antas uppgå till endast cirka 20 pro- cent av den prevalens som analysen i SOU  adolescents, as measured by an index for primary health care: The Care Need Index. was registered using the decayed, missing, filled teeth (DMFT) system.

To do this, they came up with the DMFT Index, which stands for D ecayed, M issing and F illed T eeth. The index score expresses the number of teeth out of 20 that fall into one of these three categories.

One of the indices that provide information on oral health status is the DMFT index. Based on previous studies caries experience (DMFT) is quite common in

Conclusion: This study revealed that the three constructs in the pregnant women were related to The DMFT index showed a significant difference (p = 0.001) between the groups with a mean of 2.8 (SD 2.4) for the children with FAS and a mean of 0.3 The DMFT approximation can also be cast into an extremizing problem of the LW functional, in which Φ[{G}] is approximated by the local functional Φ[{G local R}], but in DMFT the locality to the given site on the lattice R is enforced, rather than locality to a given point in 3D space. The DMFT index is one of the most widely used indices for pre-senting epidemiological data about the caries experience of a popu-lation. However, this index relates to past signs of the disease, since it allows verifying the incidence or prevalence of decayed, missing and filled teeth, but does not reveal if the caries disease is active or not. The most important factor in evaluating dental health is DMFT (Decayed, Missing, Filled, Teeth).
